We invite you to read through what we believe and take time to look up the related Scriptures for each section.
We believe in the Bible from Genesis through Revelation which is inclusive of every scripture within the Old Testament and New Testament. We believe “All scripture is given by the inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness”. “We believe that man was created by God” in the image of God created He Him; male and female created He them (2 Tim3:16; Genesis 1:27)
We believe in the coexistence of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit in the unity of the God Head. (Matt 28:9; 1 John 5:7)
We believe that salvation only comes through the shed blood of Jesus, by His death, burial, and resurrection, and that the blood atones for our sins and iniquity – that “by grace we are saved through faith and not of ourselves” – that salvation can be received through confessing the Lord Jesus – believing in the heart that God raised Him from the dead – that whosoever does this by faith is born of the Holy Spirit and adopted into the family of God. (Romans 5:9-11, 10:9-11; 1 Corn 12:13; Ephesians 2:8)
We believe in water baptism by immersion – that baptism is a sign, or an outward indication, of the inner change that has already occurred in the believer’s life through the acceptance of Jesus Christ in their lives – that baptism is an act of obedience, commitment, and proclamation, symbolizing the believer’s identification with Christ in is death, burial and resurrection – that baptism should be administered in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. (Romans 6:3-5; Matt 28:19).
We believe in partaking of the Lord’s Supper – that it is a time of remembrance and communion with God – that it represents the type of death that Jesus died – and that it is a necessity that partakers should be a believer in Jesus Christ. (Luke 22:14-29; Romans 10:23-26).
We believe in the five-fold ministry for the perfecting of the saints, works of the ministry, and edification of the body of Christ – Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers (Ephesians 4:11-12).
We believe Marriage is an institution created by God as a covenant relationship established by mutual vows exchanged exclusively between one man and one woman. (Gen 2: 22, 24; Matt 19: 5-6).
We believe in baptism of the Holy Spirit and His indwelling presence. (Matt 3:11; Acts 1:5)
We believe in the works of the Holy Spirit through diversity of gifts. (1 Corin 12:1- 11).
We believe in eternal life – that through salvation mankind can have eternal life – that Jesus will return for a church without spot or wrinkle, holy and without blemish – that there will be a rapture. (John 3:16; Ephesians 5:27; 1 Thes 4:16-17).
